After breakfast, ascend a steep track through rainforest. The vegetation is lush and the atmosphere moody. After approximately 2 hours, reach the Mgongo wa Tembo viewpoint. The vegetation changes to heather and moorland as you approach Saddle Huts. Enjoy a warm meal and prepare for an early wake-up call.
