If you look at the overall package – lovely, leafy and bird-filled grounds, a pleasant pool, several cosy lounge areas, quiet location and a renovated historic house dating from 1815 – it's not hard to see why this venue is a respected option. The 11 units, including two chalets and two garden cottages, have bags of character. No air-con, though.
