The Spot Backpackers offers a range of accommodation for travellers looking for a special beach to stay on a budget. The en-suite log cabin is popular with couples, but we also have double rooms, dorms and camping space available. All the action that doesn’t happen on the beach, happens in the barThe South Coast is well known for its sandy golden beaches, year-round good weather and great surf. There are beach walks, amazing hikes, the world’s highest gorge swing, kite surfing, standing up paddle boards and just kicking back & enjoying a chilled drink at the end of the day.The Spot Backpackers is on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, 90 km south of Durban and 5 km off the N2 national highway. You can get to The Spot easily by driving, taking a bus or by flying either to Durban (or directly to Margate – only from Johannesburg) or by taking a shuttle service from Durban.
