Perched on the side of the Mbulia Hills, H12Kipalo Hills enjoys fantastic views looking out across the 12,000 acre Mbulia Conservancy towards Ngulia Hills and Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. A comfortable camp with delicious, fresh innovative cuisine and 8 luxurious double tents built to take the best advantage of the beautiful expansive views across the plains. H12 Kipalo Hills was built with the people and for the local community to benefit from protecting the resident wildlife, especially of elephant. Seven “dune‟ cottages built from driftwood, mangrove poles and thatch. All are open and have spectacular views of the sea, river or both; they are cool and shaded and mosquito nets enclose the double beds at night. The family cottage accommodates 4 people (plus room for extra bed). The cottages are accessed by many steps up the sand dunes. Power is available in all rooms. Bathrooms are large open sun-filled areas; all en-suite with flush toilets, hot and cold running water and powerful showers.
