This smart modern place is often used by groups, but it’s also handy for the independent traveller who prefers to stay in a less touristy neighbourhood. The carpeted rooms are a little spare, but some have huge balconies (with Nile views for US$10 more), and there’s a great terrace bar from which you can spy the Pyramids.
