Although the facilities are rustic, the setting is superb, making Mweya a great place to pitch a tent. Campsite 3, the main one, has little shade but is set away from the development on the peninsula and looks out over the channel. More isolated are campsites 1 and 2, which are 3.5km and 4.5km east of the visitor centre respectively.
