The nicest place to stay in the area is Biakpa Mountain Paradise, a former government rest home converted into a mountain hideaway near the village of Vane. It's a peaceful place, with a good restaurant that serves home-grown highland coffee. Staff can arrange hikes along the Kulugu River and bike rental.
