With the warm waters of the Indian Ocean lapping over iridescent coral gardens, home to laughing dolphins, lazy turtles and magnificent whale sharks, marine enthusiasts will be charmed year round. Fine white coral sand beaches bordered by gentle lawns with waving palm trees and the sparkling aquamarine sea make The Sands a beachcombers paradise. Great care has been taken, not only to preserve the natural environment, but also to give a truly Kenyan feel by using only natural Kenyan products within the resort. The Sands at Nomad comprises a selection of 10 comfortable rooms with en suite facilities, 8 exclusive Beach Bandas, and 11 luxurious suits, many with private Jacuzzis, panoramic terraces and spacious sitting rooms. The Sands at Chale Island offers six categories of rooms and suits including Kenya’s first overwater suite, and the magical suite on the rocks which is built on its own Islet.
