Sitting on an escarpment in the quiet western side of the Chobe National Park is Muchenje Safari Lodge, offering unique and prolific game experiences along with wonderful panoramic views of the river, flood plains and beyond. Muchenje accommodates up to 24 guests in intimate exclusivity with 11 individual thatched chalets, all en-suite. Muchenje features a spacious reception area, large relaxing lounges, a library, dining area and a bar. Outside, built amongst a natural rock formation, are a swimming pool, a large gazebo and many viewing decks at different levels to observe the abundance of wildlife. The lodge offers diverse and considerable safari activities, including early morning, full day and evening game drives, guided bush walks and cultural excursions, giving a real insight to life in the western Chobe region. We also offer memorable boat trips.
