These two adjoining-13th century funduqs have been magnificently restored and are destined to host artisanal workshops and cafes. Originally built as hotels for merchants and their pack animals, they are on the street that circumnavigates the Kairaouine. Ancient, carved cedar wood beams that had to be replaced during restoration have been hung against the interior walls. From the roof terrace, the minarets of the Kairaouine and Dar Mouaqqit can be seen. There's even a lift to take you up.
