AfriCanyon offers 2 adventures: Canyoning: professionally guided 2hr and 4hour canyoning / gorge-walking or “kloofing” excursions through a section of hidden canyon. Quick and easy transfers from our base camp allowing for diverse itineraries in the area i.e. couple with other activities (of which there are many) or visit one of the beautiful blue flag beaches nearby or one of the local award winning wine farms afterwards. The second activity we offer is a 50m Abseil accessed by Via Ferrata: (an all dry option). Inspired by the via ferrata system, commonly found in Europe, we access a 50m rappel or abseil point. Connected at all times, the system of ladder-like rungs and a steel cable creates the journey out to the abseil point. It is exhilarating, great fun and inspiring!
