Avenue English

Avenue English is a language school for adults situated in the world class African city of Johannesburg – in the northern suburbs next to Melrose Arch. We develop and facilitate programmes relating to English, French and Portuguese communication, verbal and written, in the social, academic and business environment. We offer group and private courses to foreigners and second language speakers. We opened our doors in July 2011 and have built a team that make all our students communication needs a priority. Our English language lessons can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis with a maximum class size of 10 students to ensure personalised attention at all times. We pride ourselves on our excellent nationality mix.  Our General English class can be started on any Monday and can be scheduled between 1 and 46 weeks. Saturday morning part-time classes are scheduled over 8 Saturdays and are mainly for second language speakers who want to feel more confident with the English language. Students can also focus on the Foundation Level course in communication in these lessons and write their exam through the IEB. Our French and Portuguese lessons are offered on a part-time basis to South Africans who need to communicate for businesses purposes internationally. Our business borders are expanding and a good knowledge of French and Portuguese is essential for business success.
