Ocean Odyssey, Knysna’s only permitted close encounter Whale & Dolphin watching operator, our qualified team is passionate about showcasing our prolific marine life and our incredibly picturesque coastline, blessed with year-round sightings of Humpback, Common and Bottlenose Dolphins, along with the resident Bryde’s whales. The spectacular sightings of migratory Southern Right and Humpback whales can be seen from June to November as they skirt our coastline, making their way to the tropics to calve, mate and feed their young before heading back to the Antarctic. We are located at Thesen Island harbour town, we boast 3 Blue Flag vessels, which are moored in a Blue Flag marina. Trips depart – 09.30, 12 and 3pm daily,  perfect activity for individuals, families, and groups.  Other options -Eco tours & 45 minute Heads Adventure (pax 12-36) Our gift and curio shop offers a wide variety of ocean inspired proudly South African clothing, decor & gifts.
