This circular, hilltop, Italian-built church was built in the memory of 86 African and Italian construction workers who lost their lives while building the dam. Of those, 17 bodies remain embedded in the dam wall after flash floods hit during the concreting. It's located on top of the hill (600m) at Kariba Heights, accessed by Heights Dr, off the road heading to the border. There's also an observation tower up here.
