This swish Egyptian restaurant has kept much of the old setting of Pastroudis Cafe, the famous literary haunt, adding the wonderful art of Chant Avenissian and an excellent menu of Egyptian classics. It includes mezze, stuffed pigeon, a seafood stew and a delicious molokhiyya (garlicky leaf soup) with rabbit or chicken. Alcohol is served. Book ahead.
