Pemba eco-Lodge is situated on the remote and beautiful Shamiani Island surrounded by the crystal clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean it is just south of the main island, Pemba, Zanzibar’s sister island. Before the arrival of Pemba Lodge, this island was home only to the local inhabitants along with an abundance of tropical flora and fauna, including the rare and endangered green sea turtle. When the tide is out the beach takes on an almost lunar landscape stretching into the distance and when the tide is in, it’s an even more stunning view.
