Tanda Tula Safari Camp is situated in the shade of majestic trees and features 12 secluded luxury tents, each with breathtaking views over the African bush and a riverbed. The East African styled tents are the epitome of simple elegance, comfort and style. Each tent features its own private deck, luxury en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower. Morning and afternoon game drives in open Land Rovers are guided by incredibly knowledgeable rangers and trackers. Tanda Tula Field Camp is located in an exclusive concession of 16000 acres. The field camp is an explorer styled, non-permanent tented camp. The camp accommodates only 8 guests and is set up and broken down for each exclusive use safari, making this the most environmentally friendly camp in the region. The emphasis is on guided walking safaris and tracking big game on foot. The Timbavati hosts phenomenal concentrations of Africa’s famous ‘Big Five’ in one of the most beautiful parts of the continent. The reserve lies adjacent to the Kruger National Park with no fences between the two, allowing the game to roam freely following their natural migration paths making this an unforgettable safari experience.
