Tanda Tula is a suite of owner run tented safari camps situated in the world-renowned Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, in the Greater Kruger National Park. The Timbavati is home to both Tanda Tula Safari Camp and the Tanda Tula Field Camps. Whilst Tanda Tula Safari Camp is located in the very heart of the Timbavati, the Tanda Tula Field Camps occupy exclusive locations within the Eastern and Southern regions of the Reserve. The Timbavati hosts phenomenal concentrations of Africa’s famous ‘Big Five’ in one of the most beautiful parts of the continent. The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve lies adjacent to the Kruger National Park, with no fences between the two, allowing the African game to roam freely following their natural migration paths making this an unforgettable safari experience. The staff at our Safari Camp make a wonderful impression on our guests. Some members of our staff have been at the lodge for more than 30 years! Their loyalty and passion for their work and the environment shines through. We consider ourselves to be incredibly fortunate to have such a friendly and hard working team. Not only is a unique safari experience about unforgettable game viewing, excellent service and luxury safari accommodation, but also about fine bushveld cuisine. At Tanda Tula Safari Camp we pride ourselves in our fine bush cuisine. With head chef Ryan Mullett at the helm, each dining occasion is more than just a meal, it is a sensory experience. The Tanda Tula tented camps are owned and run by Don and Nina Scott, together with their incredible team of staff. Guests of Tanda Tula are welcomed into the camps with warmth and genuine pleasure.
